Mukesh is the Founder and Managing Partner of the Firm. With specialization in corporate international tax and transfer pricing, he has experience in advising multinationals and Indian conglomerates on a range of matters concerning business re-organizations, cross-border structuring, and tax controversy. He is an acknowledged expert in the area of international tax policy, controversy and advocacy and has to his credit several landmark judicial pronouncements and depositions before expert committees. He is an expert in issuing opinions, witness statements, examinations & cross-examination before appellate/ arbitration forums. He has also deposed as an expert witness on contentious cross-border tax treaties, and TP matters in foreign jurisdictions.

Seema Kejriwal

Seema specializes in corporate international tax and transfer pricing with over two decades of experience in advising Fortune 500 multinationals and large Indian business houses on a wide range of international tax and transfer pricing matters.

She has a Bachelor of Commerce and Law from the University of Mumbai and has obtained her master’s in business law from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. She is qualified as a chartered accountant at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has worked with Big 4 firms and was seconded to the firms U.S. transfer pricing practice. Seema has co-authored several contributions in transfer pricing compendiums and books by leading organisations and authors. Besides her contributions to international tax policy initiatives of the firm, she regularly speaks at global seminars such as IFA, Pacific-Rim, Tax Institute, and Vienna University and contributes to research papers and columns on tax and transfer pricing policy, which find mention in leading academic publications such as IBFD, Kluwers, Bloomberg, GTDT, ICLG, etc.

Shankey Agrawal

Shankey specializes in direct and indirect tax litigation with over 15 years of experience and has been involved in several high stakes litigation.

Shankey advises clients on taxation and foreign exchange regulations- related violations, consequential investigations, and criminal prosecutions. He obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from the Indian Law Society Law College, Pune and is also a qualified Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Shankey qualified as an Advocate-on- Record of the Supreme Court and is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi (BCD), the International Bar Council (IBA), the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), and the Delhi High Court Bar Association. He serves as a member of the Tax Committee at the IBA and BRICS Chamber of Commerce.

He has to his credit several authorships including publications on the Equalization Levy, India Chapter in Bloomberg Tax’s Country Guides/ VAT Navigator for the year 2023 and research papers on Indirect Transfer Tax and Chambers & Partners Tax Controversy Guide, 2023. He has also authored a book on GST disputes for Taxmann Publications. Shruti Lohia

Partner

Shruti Lohia specialises in M&A tax, transaction advisory, and international tax.  She possesses over 12 years of experience working in M&A Tax & Regulatory space. Prior to joining the firm, she was associated with one of the leading big four consulting firms and later with a leading boutique consulting firm. During these stints, she has worked on several tax diligence assignments and also advised various Indian and MNC clients on deal advisory, transaction and corporate restructuring. She has also advised several promoter groups and HNIs on aspects related to the succession of wealth.

Shruti is a Commerce graduate from the University of Mumbai and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.  She has also obtained her Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Mumbai.  She is enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra.

She has authored various articles in leading newspapers and reputed publications and journals (like IBFD, Lexology, ICLG, and IBLJ) on international taxation and M&A-related topics.  She has co-authored a chapter in the book “Demystifying section 194R” jointly published by Taxsutra and the Chamber of Tax Consultants.
